Hassan Nasrallah: Wishes for the birth of Christ and the Prophet

Speech by Hezbollah Secretary General Sayed Hassan Nasrallah on December 21, 2015, after the martyrdom of Samir Kuntar, Commander of the Resistance.

First, in a few days, the world will celebrate the glorious anniversary of the birth of our Lord the Messiah, peace be upon him. And on this occasion, we turn to all Christians and all Muslims in Lebanon and the world, to send them our congratulations and wishes for this great event.

A few days after also, the world will commemorate the blessed birth of the greatest of the Prophets of God, Muhammad b. Abdillah, peace and blessings of God be upon him and his family. And on this occasion, we turn to all Muslims in Lebanon and around the world, to send them our congratulations and wishes for this pure and blessed birth.

And we ask God Almighty, by the blessing and the magnitude of these two grandiose divine Messengers, to spread over all the peoples of the world, the peoples of our region and our country, mercy, peace, security, happiness and success against crises and trials, and to open the mind and heart of all to long for the reign of love and compassion that have embodied these two great (Prophets)

among all peoples of the world, until the Day of Resurrection.
